London and the South East bear the brunt of the nation’s housing crisis. One Housing is leading the way in finding solutions. We believe building is key and punch above our weight as a developer, using our private sale programme to fund new affordable homes for those in need. We’re already a landlord to around 16,000 households with a further 3,600 homes in our pipeline to 2019. We’re also a large-scale and widely recognised provider of care and support with ambitious plans to become a major player in the senior living with care sector.
Alongside our growth plans we’ve embarked on a major transformation programme to modernise the way we work, with an increased focus on customer service. We are therefore investing in latest business systems technology and in developing our people to increase quality and choice across all that we do. To deliver the IT programme underpinning our business transformation, we recently recruited a Chief Information Officer who will oversee this £20 million investment in systems and data over the next four years. This will help us fundamentally change the way we deliver our business and maximise the use of information to better shape our services.
We see IT as that key enabler so that we can transform the way we go about our business, how we interact with our customers, creating an environment where staff and customers are enabled to take more responsibility and help them to make the choices which are right for them. This is a pivotal role in helping us become a truly brilliant business.
To help make this happen we are looking to strengthen our team by on-boarding a dynamic and inspiring IT Programme Director with a track record of delivering complex IT projects as promised to stakeholders.
We want do-ers, proactive responsibility takers who make it easy for others to take action. We want professional people, people who aspire to be part of a brilliantly run social business and who are not afraid to take tough decisions and who are always keen to do what needs to be done. We want ambitious people, those who see no limits to what we and individuals can achieve and to what others can do for themselves. And we want people who are open to dealing with the real issue, to seek new ways of solving problems, open to other points of view and to learn new best practice from others. It also goes without saying that we also need people who can embrace our passion and purpose to house and care for those who need a helping hand with life’s challenges.
As the headlines make it clear – thousands of people are desperate for better homes and care. You can do something about it. Visit www.OneHousingRecruitment.com to find out more.
